Tag furnished by The Sign Farm. Reserve Breed Champions will receive $15 and a duffle bag. Guidelines: No straw allowed in the barns. MUST be at least two pigs per pen. You can bring your own panels and split the pens if you want. After December 1, 2010 and they must be presented at the time of entry. one year prior approval. Livestock barn areas only. Lambs must have been nominated for OYE to be eligible to show. All breeds with a sponsor will be represented. Breeds represented and show order will be: Southdown, Shrop, Dorset, Speckled Face, Hamp, Suffolk, Natural, and Cross. There will be a 5 pound weigh back from the top of the class. Weigh back top 3 of each class. Weight cards are due in the office by 10:00 a.m. Wed. Feb. 15 Wethers will begin showing after the ewe show. There will be no classes of more than 16 head. No Paint Allowed in Sheep Show. Lambs must have been nominated for OYE to be eligible to show. There will be no breed representation in the market ewe show. All ewes will compete as one breed and classes broke according to weight. There will be a 5 pound weigh back from the top of the class. Weigh back the top 3 of each class. Weight cards for ewes are due Wed. Feb. 15, 9:00 a.m. Ewe show will begin at 11:00 a.m. followed by the wethers There will be no classes of more than 16 head. No Paint Allowed in the Sheep Show. To be eligible, must weigh 1000 pounds or less. Breeds represented and show order will be: Angus, Hereford, Shorthorn, and AOB. All four breeds will be represented regardless of numbers. Steers will be weighed in from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Wed. Feb. 15. There will be no weigh back in class. No Glue Rule will be allowed at this years show. All breeds with a sponsor will be exhibited. There will be a Grand and Reserve Grand Heifer selected. Show order will be alphabetical. Heifer Papers must be presented to the office Wed. Feb. 15 by 5:00 p.m. The following breeds have sponsors and will be represented: Angus, Chianina, Hereford, Limousin, Maine-Anjou, Maintainer, Red Angus, Shorthorn, Shorthorn Select, Simmental, and AOB. All heifers must have registration papers with the exception of Commercial heifers, which must have registration papers or a breeders verification of parentage, exhibitors name, and birth date. No Glue Rule will be allowed at this years show. Weights will be 1001 pounds and up. Breeds represented and show order will be: Angus, Hereford, Shorthorn, and AOB. Market Goat show will begin immediately following the Doe goats. All does must have been nominated for OYE or provide registration papers to be eligible to show. Registration papers and weights for commercial gilts are due in the office by 10:00 a.m. Friday, Feb.18. Gilts will show separate from barrows on Fri. Feb. 17 at 1:00 p.m. Gilts will show as Breeding Gilts. All swine must have a negative pseudorabies test after Dec. 1, 2010. Pseudo papers must be presented at time of entry. All swine must have been nominated for the OYE to be eligible to show. Purebred gilts show order will be: Berk, Chester, Duroc, Hamp, Poland, Spot, and York. Purebred gilt classes will be broke by age. Purebred gilts born between August 1 and September 30 are eligible to show. Commercial gilt classes will be broke by weight. All purebred gilts must have pedigrees and/or proof of transfer to be eligible to show as purebreds. Gilts without pedigrees may show in the commercial class. The decision of the Swine Supt. is final. All commercial gilts must weigh within 10 lbs. of the 200-325 weight range. No gilts weighing less that 190 will be permitted to show. All purebred champions and the commercial champion will compete for overall Grand Champion Gilt. All commercial gilts must weigh within 10 lbs. from the top of the class. Will weigh back the top three in each class. Not more than 25 head per class. Market Barrows All swine must have a negative pseudorabies test after Dec. 1, 2010. Pseudo papers must be presented at time of entry. All swine must have been nominated for OYE to be eligible to show. All barrows must weigh within 10 lbs. of the 200-280 weight range. No barrows weighing less than 190 will be permitted to show. Breeds represented and show order: Berk, Chester, Duroc, Hamp, Poland, Spot, York, and Crossbred. Weigh back will be 10 pounds from the top of the class. Weigh cards for the Berks and Chesters are due 1:00 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 17. The Berks and Chesters will show 30 from the conclusion of the gilt show. Weigh back the top three in each class. Not more than 25 head per class.
